2. Payment Processing (Merchant of Record)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. They provide all customer service inquiries and handle returns.

When you purchase a subscription to Offcoin:

  • Your payment information is collected and processed directly by Lemon Squeezy.
  • Lemon Squeezy’s use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Offcoin only receives confirmation of the purchase, your email address, and basic billing details (country/state) for tax compliance and to grant you access to our services.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

In accordance with the Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos Personales (LOPDP) of Ecuador, we process your data based on:

  • Contractual Necessity: To provide the Offcoin services you signed up for.
  • Legal Obligation: To comply with tax and accounting requirements.
  • Consent: When you opt-in to receive our newsletter or marketing updates.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide you with our services and for legitimate legal purposes, such as maintaining financial records for tax authorities.
